Pen Review: Pilot Juice 0.5 Metallic Gel Pens

(disclaimer: tulisan ini 100% berdasarkan pendapat dan pengalaman pribadi ya.)

–I’m back uwu.

Say hello to my (not-so-)new metallic gel pens! Lihat pulpen gemas kaya gini mana tahan, ya kan hahaha.

Pulpen ini sudah kubeli cukup lama namun baru sekitar satu bulan yang lalu kubuat sebuah karya dengannya, dan sudah kuduga, I’m in love! Yuk, kita ulik pulpen ini lebih jauh!

Hello, Again.

Woohoo I’m writing again! I’m surprised how long it takes for me to write another post after the last one.

(here my excuses start) (just skip this part) These two months had been cray-cray and I was a bit stressed out. There were some new projects at work. There was some minor renovation in my house which was quite disturbing. My house assistant is no longer around so I gotta help to do the chores I’m not accustomed to. I had a lot of irons in the fire and gotta go out of town almost every week so I was physically tired. And also, there were some personal things/issues going on that made me mentally drained. I used all my free time to rest, pray, do nothing and overthink things, or simply meditate. Writing was not my top priority, so yeah. (here the end of my excuses) (thank you if you actually care and read this, lol)

And now some of them had passed, I feel like I can actually take a breath and continue my routine. Working in peace, drawing, hanging out, everything. And also writing! I think I have some more topics to be shared in this blog, hopefully I can make writing one of my routines too! I’m gonna start with one post per week to start –will try my best to manage.

This is no longer a 30-day-writing-challenge-whatsoever, it’s just me trying to consistently grow my skill in writing. So, hello again!🌼

My Last Post

…for this 30-day writing challenge! I think in my case the name 30-post writing challenge suits better than 30-day writing challenge lol. Anyway, cheers!

I can’t say I love writing as lightly as I’d say I love drawing just yet, although I feel like my writing is slightly improved after those 29 posts I made. I said slightly, ’cause I know my writings still suck. But hey, look!

Post 30 – This last post 😀

Some posts are related because most ideas came from my former posts; means an idea is grown. The more I write, the more ideas I have. Just like the more I draw, the more I feel inspired to draw.

Soooo.. this won’t be the last time you see my writings! I want to try having my own domain or writing on other platforms like Medium, but let’s see. And I probably won’t post as many as I did before, but yes, there are more to come!! If you have any theme regarding art or anything else you’re curious about, just hit me up 😀

Thank you to everyone who’ve been reading my writings, I appreciate you a lot XOXO.

Digital art is fun, but ink and paper are still the champions (for me).

You know what’s the best thing about digital art? You can undo every stroke you made. No worries about those careless, unintended lines. You can redo it as many times as you want until you’re satisfied. But it’s also the one thing that makes me love traditional art more.

Drawing traditionally makes me more confident when I’m doing a stroke. Once the ink touches the paper, there’s no going back. If by any chances you make a mistake, you just gotta embrace it. None of my works are perfect and that’s perfectly okay.

Sure, digital art offers endless possibilities. But then again, so far, I think nothing beats that feeling when a pen tip reaches a paper. There’s a therapeutic feeling when seeing the ink flows through blank space. There’s a satisfying sensation hearing that squeaky noise of a pen hitting the paper. There’s a sense of belonging to each piece I made, somehow.

My hand’s now sore for I spent most of my Eid holiday drawing on the iPad, and I gotta admit, digital art is indeed addictive. Then yesterday, I finally back to ink and paper, and I was like, “Daymn, I miss this.

I know it seems unfair comparing traditional art that I’ve been doing for the last five years to digital art that I’ve only started last month. But this is honestly how I feel right now. I don’t know if my opinion’s gonna change within years ahead, but let’s see!

Different Kind of Sunday.

Working in a company that has 24-hour work culture, you could say that I’m “always on”, even on Sunday. But not this Sunday.

The Eid holiday is here!

I’m hoping everyone’s having a good time with their loved ones❤
